Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Submitting Content
When you submit content to our site, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and any other data you provide. This information is used to identify you as the author of the content and to contact you if necessary. By submitting content, you grant us permission to publish and distribute your content on our site and related platforms.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

Welcome to Keintoon (the "Site"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and the submission of any content to the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.1 Registration: To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form.
2.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3. Submitting Content
3.1 User Content: Both registered and non-registered users may submit content to the Site, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a license to use it as described below.
3.2 License: By submitting User Content to the Site, you grant Keintoon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Site and Keintoon's (and its successors' and affiliates') business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Site in any media formats and through any media channels.
3.3 Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of submitting and publishing it on the Site. You affirm, represent, and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish the User Content you submit.
3.4 Prohibited Content: You agree not to submit any User Content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights.
- Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
- Promotes illegal activity or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or libelous.
3.5 Moderation: We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
3.6 Rights to Display User Content: By submitting content, you agree that your content may be viewed, downloaded, and printed by other users.
- You acknowledge and agree that we may provide other users with the rights to view, download, and print your submitted content for personal and non-commercial use.
- You retain any and all of your rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the platform and you are responsible for protecting those rights.
4. Storage of User Content
- By submitting content to the platform, you acknowledge and agree that we may store your content on our servers or those of third-party service providers.
- We are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or damage to your content. It is your responsibility to maintain backup copies of your content.

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Site, without any advance notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Site, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keintoon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of the Site or inability to use the Site; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Site; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Site by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content; and/or (f) any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Site.
9. Indemnity
9.1 You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Keintoon, its parent corporation, officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Site; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party.
10. Changes to the Terms
10.1 We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
